Pledge of Allegiances

President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

B Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by J. Riggenbach to accept the January minutes.  Motion

approved 4-0.

Treasurer’s Report:  H. Burns gave the treasurer’s report.   S. Bunders made a motion, seconded by

B. Roehrborn to accept the Treasurer’s report.  Motion approved 4-0

Public Input – A presentation was given by the University of Stevens Point/DNR in reference to their students doing a study in the Village of Almond for community forestry.  They will be taking sections of the village in groups to look at what we have for trees.  They will give recommendations on what needs to be done to maintain these trees and possible planting others.  This is a project that the village can apply for matching funds to promote trees and make our village beautiful.  Any impute from the community is welcomed.

Finance report was given by S. Bunders.  J. Riggenbach made a motion, seconded by B. Roehrborn to accept the finance report.  Motion approved 4-0.

Fire:  Used the UTV in a snowmobile accident.  Worked very well.

Public Works –Harter’s cost is going down $10.00/per ton.  We are still waiting to hear about the Church St project.

Properties – Discussion was held on what to do for the waterway on the east side of the village by Sanchez’s.  Will discuss more at next meeting.

Ordinance/Personnel – Heather told us about taking some personal property dollars off the tax roll in the amount of $108.74.  B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by J. Riggenbach to discontinue sending notices to pay this personal property. Motion approved 4-0

Equipment – Looking for a different snowplow truck. 

Zoning –One remodel application.

Cemetery – Sold two plots

Beautification – Possible tree plan

Planning Commission – Still need one member from the community yet.  If anyone know of someone, please have them contact K. Trzebiatowski.

Next meeting of the board will be Monday March 9, 2020.

B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by S. Bunders to adjourn.  Motion passed 4-0.
