Board Minutes Dec 9,2019

Present: J. Riggenbach, B. Roehrborn, R. Burns, H. Burns, C. Smith, K Trzebiatowski, S Bunders

Pledge of Allegiances

President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

J. Riggenbach made a motion, seconded by B. Roehrborn to accept the November minutes.  Motion approved 4-0.

Treasurer’s Report:  H. Burns gave the treasurer’s report.  B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by R. Burns to accept the Treasurer’s report.  Motion approved 4-0

Finance report was given by S. Bunders.  B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by J. Riggenbach to accept the finance report.  Motion approved 4-0.

Fire:  None

 Properties:  None

Public Works – DNR approved the application for recycling by the village.

The Village/Town dump will be closed on December 25th and Jan 1st because of the holidays.  It will be open instead on December 26th and January 2nd.

Sewer Rates – The board reviewed the sewer rates. B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by S. Bunders to keep the sewer rates the same for the next two years.  Motion approved 4-0

B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded J. Riggenbach to transfer money into the replacement fund at the March meeting.  Motion approved 4-0

Ordinance/Personnel – B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by J. Riggenbach to have Dave find people that would be interested in being a substitute snow plow operator.  He would then bring the names back to the board for approval.  The pay rate for this position will be $14.00/hr.  Motion approved 4-0

Poll workers – S. Bunders made a motion, seconded by B. Roehrborn to approve the following for election workers for the 2020-2021 election years.   The poll workers are, Betty Burn, Mickie Pagel, Ellen Riggenbach, Dianne Schultz, Joan Rohde, Su-Ann Pagel-Rast, Jamie Schmidt and Lori Schultz.  Motion approved 4-0

Equipment – None

Zoning – One remodel application.

Beautification – None

Approval/Discussion of adopting the Portage County All Hazards Mitigation Plan Update, resolution 129.   B. Roehrborn made a motion to approve the resolution 129, seconded by S. Bunders.  Motion approved 4-0.

Village caucus will be held on Tuesday January 14th at 6:45 pm at the municipal center.

Next meeting of the board will be Tuesday January 14th, 2020, following the caucus meeting .

B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by S. Bunders to adjourn.  Motion passed 4-0.
