Present: J. Riggenbach, B. Roehrborn, S. Bunders, R. Burns, H. Burns, C. Smith, C. Schmidt, K Trzebiatowski

Pledge of Allegiances was said

The President called the meeting to order at 7:00pm.

B Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by C. Schmidt to accept the June minutes.  Motion approved 5-0.

Treasurer’s Report:  H. Burns gave the treasurer’s report.  J. Riggenbach made a motion, seconded by S. Bunders to accept the Treasurer’s report.  Motion approved 5-0.

Finance – S. Bunders gave the finance report.  B. Roehrborn made a motion seconded by J. Riggenbach to approve the bills.  Motion approved 5-0.

Public Input-None

Fire –None

Public Works – Sewer – Dave reported that we need longer riser for the sprinkler system at the lagoon.  Will investigate this further. 

Streets – The committee needs to meet to come up with a five-year plan for maintaining the streets.  They will start with Church Street for next year and go from there.  Also need to visit the sidewalks to see which ones need repair.  Would like this done by the September meeting to put in the budget.

Recycling – Discussion was held on what we need to do to do a Compliance Assurance Plan.  The committee will meet on August 22, 2019 at 7:00PM to discusses recommendations.

Properties – None

Ordinance/Personnel – Grass cutting/trash notices will be going out to person’s not in compliance.

Equipment – We received a quote to repair the Village/Fire Dept generator in the amount of $3014.65 from Cummins Sales and Service.  After some discussion, B. Roehrborn made a motion, seconded by C. Schmidt to get the generator fixed with the Fire Department paying one-half the cost for the repairs and the other half being paid by the Sewer account.

It was decided to advertise the old sewer rodder for sale as is.

Zoning – some permits have been issued

Cemetery – None

Beautification – None

Operator’s License Application J. Riggenbach made a motion, seconded by B. Roehrborn to grant an operator’s license to Greg Otto.  Motion approved 5-0

The Planning Commission met and their recommendation to the board that parcel #101210927-12.20 be rezoned from Residential to B-1 Business.  Upon this recommendation the board will have a public hearing to be held on August 12, 2019 at 6:30pm at the municipal center before final approval at the regular board meeting.

Our next board meeting will be August 12, 2019 at 6:30 PM.

S. Bunders made a motion, seconded by B. Roehrborn to adjourn. Motion approved 5-0.
