Dump Meeting

Village Board Members Present: R. Burns, B. Roehrborn, D. Johnson, C. Schmidt, G. Otto, C. Smith, H. Burns,
Town of Almond Village Board Members – K. Gutke, R. Hetzel, M. Lemke
The meeting was called to order at 7:00PM by President B. Roehrborn
Discussion proceeded on the dump finances
They recommended the following
- Do a random resident check of people coming to the dump
- Compression of the dumpster units, possible rebuilding the weights
- Strive to reduce amount of pulls
- Create a sign and post it on entering the dump that says “Proof of residency may be required to use this facility”
Village is proposing a change in financial responsibility based on number of residents.
Present residential ratio is Village 40%, Township 60%. Present agreement is 50/50
Township will be meeting on Thursday October 14, 2021 to discuss this proposal.
