Village of Almond Board Meeting
March 22, 2018
Members present: B. Roehrborn, J. Riggenbach, S. Bunders, R. Burns
President K. Trzebiatowski called the Meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
K. Trzebiatowski began discussion on amending the minutes from the March 12, 2018 Village Board meeting.
J. Riggenbach reported that prior to the March 12, 2018 meeting, he had received an email from the Clerk (H. Iwanski), questioning the Personnel Committee’s determination of the Clerk’s wages.
R. Burns reminded the board that there was a lengthy discussion during the October 9, 2018 Village Board meeting of how the Clerk’s wages were determined.
K. Trzebiatowski reported that the Clerk (H. Iwanski) completed time sheets when she was the Deputy Clerk and the Interim Clerk. The last time sheet turned in to the Village President was in November 2017. K. Trzebiatowski reports that in February 2018, he asked the Clerk for her time sheet and was met with resistance at first, but them received them for January 2018 and February 2018.
S. Bunders made a motion, seconded by R. Burns to amend and correct Ordinance and Personnel minutes from the March 12, 2018 meeting. Motion carried 4-0.
S. Bunders made a motion, seconded by R. Burns to amend the Finance minutes from the March 12, 2018 meeting. Motion carried 4-0.
J. Riggenbach made a motion, seconded by S. Bunders to approve the March 14, 2018 minutes.
Motion carried 4-0.
R. Burns made a motion, seconded by S. Bunders to change Ordinance 2-3-1 (A) to read: “The Office of the Clerk shall be a hired, hourly employee and shall be hired by the Village President with the Village Board’s approval.” Motion carried 4-0.
K. Trzebiatowski reports that the Village has received requested passwords.
R. Burns made a motion, seconded by S. Bunders to adjourn at 8:40 pm. Motion carried 4-0
