Village Board Minutes April 10, 2017

April 10, 2017 Village Board Meeting Board Members: B. Roehrborn, R. burns, S. Bunders, J. Riggenbach, K. Stucker. Visitors: Nich Achtermeier, Dan Folan, Bonnie Rosenthal, Roger Hetzel, Dan Turzinski, Maria Frank, Bob Biga. Jim Riggenbach called the meeting to order at 7pm. R. Burns made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to approve the minutes of the March meeting. Motion carried 4-0. R. Burns made a motion and seconded S. Bunders to approve the April disbursements. Motion carried 4-0. S. Bunders made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to approve the Treasurers report. Motion carried 4-0. All Officers were re-elected in The Spring Election. The Seventh Day Adventist Church wants to use the Park on Park St. for Bible School August 14th thru August 19th. Permission was granted. Bonnie Rosenthal petitioned the Board to change the zoning designation on all her properties on Main Street between Maple and Oak St from Business to Residential. B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to refer this to the Planning Commission for recommendation on the Petition and to hold a Public Hearing at the May Village Board Meeting. Neighbors to be notified before the May meeting. Motion carried 4-0. Nick Achtermeier explained the charges for Harters Disposal. K. Stucker made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn after much discussion to refer Harters Charges to Public Works and the Town of Almond and bring results to the May Meeting. Motion carried 4-0. B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to hire Patrick Biegel as the Collection Site worker. Motion carried 4-0. B. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by K. Stucker to install a drop box at the back door. Motion carried 4-0. DRUG DROP OFF APRIL 29TH AT THE VILLAGE HALL FROM 12:30 to 2pm. Next Meeting May 8th. R. Burns made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to adjourn. Motion carried 4-0. Jaclyn Lemke, Clerk
