Village of Almond Board Minutes May 12, 2014

Village Board Meeting May 12, 2014 Board Members Present: D Helmrick, K. Stucker, R. Burns, K. Olson, S. Bunders, B. Roehrborn Visitors: Dan Folan President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting at 7pm. K Olson made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to approve the minutes of the April meeting. Motion carried 5-0.

1. Olson made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to approve the May disbursements. Motion carried 5-0.
2. Helmrick made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to accept the Treasurers report. Motion carried 6-0.
3. Helmrick made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to put the $2870.92 that was paid on the Sewer Loan each month into the Replacement Fund. Motion carried 6-0.
4. Roehrborn made a motion and seconded by D. Helmrick to get bids for Chip Seal on 2^nd Ave. N. and Webster St. and double Chip Seal on Church St. from Maple St. to Poplar St and to get a bid with Webster St. and without Webster St. Motion carried 6-0.

There was a discussion on Elm St. work that has to be done.

150. Bunders made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to charge $150.00 for Dan to Dig for Cremation Burial and $50.00 for marking graves. Motion carried 6-0.
151. Olson made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to approve the Fund Balance Policy. Motion carried 6-0.
152. Olson made a motion and seconded by R. Burns to purchase a dehumidifier for the basement for under $200.00. Motion carried 6-0.
153. Helmrick made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to adjourn. Motion carried 6-0.
