Village Board Meeting
July 9, 2012
Board Members Present: D. Helmrick, S. Bunders, C. Petrick, B. Roehrborn.
Visitors: Dan Folan
President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting to order at 7pm.
President K. Trzebiatowski asked that each member call when they are not able to get to a meeting and to arrive at least five minutes early.
- Petrick made a motion and seconded by D. Helmrick to approve the minutes of the June meeting with the amendment that the Legion paid all of the expense of the Electrical upgrade. Motion carried 4-0.
- Petrick made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to approve the Treasurers report. Motion carried 4-0.
- Helmrick made a motion and seconded by C. Petrick to approve the July disbursements. Motion carried 4-0.
- Petrick made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to change section 9-2-96(A)(2)(C)-take out even if and replace with unless; take out $1000.00 and replace with $500.00. Add to 9-2-96(A)(3) add (C) For any routine interior or exterior repairs or maintenance, including: painting, wallpaper, replacing floor coverings, replace the furnace, water heater or central air conditioning; replacing roof, chimney or windows, if the repairs or maintenance exceed $500.00. Motion carried 4-0.
- Helmrick made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to add to Ordinance 9-2-98 (7) Repairs, Improvements, and Maintenance exceeding $500 in value $10.00. Motion carried 4-0.
- Petrick made a motion and seconded by S. Bunders to add (10) to Ordinance 8-1-15 (B) Loud and Unnecessary Noise Prohibited. Yard Maintenance-the creation of noise relating to yard maintenance between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:00am. Activities included, but are not limited to include grass trimming-cutting, tree trimming-cutting, power raking-leaf blowing, edging and landscaping using power equipment. Motion carried 4-0.
- Petrick made a motion and seconded by D. Helmrick to grant a Cigarette License to Almond Market-111 Main St. Motion carried 3-0.
- Helmrick made a motion and seconded by B. Roehrborn to adjourn @ 8:15. Motion carried 4-0.
